Koi bhi graduation subject theek hai — UPSC ne koi stream restrict nahi ki hai. Engineering, MBBS, BA, B.Com, B.Sc — sab eligible hain. Lekin arts/humanities background wale actually zyada successful hote hain kyunki UPSC GS syllabus (History, Geography, Polity, Economy, Sociology) directly arts subjects se cover hota hai. Important hai ki aap graduate ho aur final year mein bhi apply kar sakte ho.
Average topper 2–3 years mein crack karte hain, lekin kuch 1 year mein bhi qualify karte hain. Minimum 8–10 hours daily study required hai serious preparation ke liye. Pehle saal mein foundation (NCERT + standard books), doosre saal mein mains answer writing + optional, teesre saal mein revision + mock tests.
