RRB NTPC (Railway Recruitment Boards — Non-Technical Popular Categories) exam Indian Railways ka largest recruitment drive hai. Ye exam graduate aur undergraduate dono ke liye hota hai, lekin graduate level posts zyada prestigious aur better-paid hain.

RRB NTPC 2026 Eligibility

• Graduate Level Posts: Any recognized degree, age 18–33
• Under-Graduate Posts: 10+2 pass, age 18–30
• Age relaxation: SC/ST 5 years, OBC 3 years

Exam Pattern

Computer Based Test (CBT) Stage 1

• Mathematics: 30 questions
• General Intelligence & Reasoning: 30 questions
• General Awareness: 40 questions
• Total: 100 questions, 90 minutes
• Negative marking: 1/3 mark

CBT Stage 2 (For Shortlisted Candidates)

• Mathematics: 35 questions
• General Intelligence & Reasoning: 35 questions
• General Awareness: 50 questions
• Total: 120 questions, 90 minutes

Stage 3 (Typing/Skill Test)

Some posts mein typing test hota hai: 30 WPM English ya 25 WPM Hindi typing required.

Preparation Strategy

Mathematics

RRB NTPC maths intermediate level hai — 10th standard topics mainly:

• Number systems, HCF/LCM, decimals, fractions
• Percentage, ratio, profit/loss, simple/compound interest
• Mensuration: area, volume of 2D/3D shapes
• Statistics: mean, median, mode, data interpretation

General Awareness

• Indian Railways ka history, zones, Rail Budget — must read
• Current affairs: last 6 months, especially government schemes
• Static GK: capitals, currencies, important days, sports
• Science basics: physics, chemistry, biology (Class 10 level)

Reasoning

• Analogy, classification, series, coding-decoding
• Direction sense, blood relations, Venn diagrams
• Calendar, clock problems, statements-conclusions
