GATE 2026 — Kyun Dena Chahiye?

GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) sirf IIT/NIT M.Tech ke liye nahi hai. 2026 mein GATE score ke through:

• PSU (Public Sector Undertakings) mein direct recruitment — ONGC, BHEL, NTPC, IOCL, SAIL mein ₹10–15 LPA packages
• IIT/NIT/IISc M.Tech admission + stipend (₹12,400/month)
• DRDO, BARC mein scientist positions
• Some private companies GATE score prefer karte hain

• Result: March 2026
• GATE score validity: 3 years

High Weightage Subjects (Must Master)

• Algorithms (15-18 marks): Sorting, graph algorithms, DP, complexity analysis — CLRS book follow karo
• Data Structures (10-12 marks): Trees, graphs, hashing — practice code likhna
• Operating Systems (10-12 marks): Process scheduling, memory management, deadlock, file systems
• DBMS (10-12 marks): Relational algebra, SQL, normalization, transactions
• Computer Networks (8-10 marks): TCP/IP, routing algorithms, congestion control

Medium Weightage Subjects

• TOC (8 marks): Finite automata, grammars, Turing machines
• Compiler Design (6-8 marks): Parsing, lexical analysis, code generation
• Digital Logic (6-8 marks): Boolean algebra, combinational circuits
• Computer Organization (6-8 marks): Pipelining, cache, instruction set

Aptitude (15 marks — Don't Ignore!)

General Aptitude mein 15 marks hote hain — ye comparatively easy hote hain. Quantitative aptitude aur verbal reasoning prepare karo — guaranteed marks.

12-Month Preparation Plan

• Month 1-4: High weightage subjects complete karo — concept clarity focus
• Month 5-8: Medium weightage subjects + revision of previous
• Month 9-10: Previous year papers solve karo (2015-2025 ke papers)
• Month 11-12: Full mock tests — GATE Virtual Calculator use karna practice karo
