Avoiding Job Search Scams

Job hunters can be really vulnerable to job search scams especially over the internet. And worse, they never cease to increase in number everyday. If you are careful enough, you won’t be a victim of these con artists. A recruiter or employer should never ask for your confidential accounts like your credit card or bank account number and especially your pin code. Do not ever give it out over the telephone or via email. Providing your recruiter your Social Security number with birth date should not be done over phone or email. That ought to be done during formal job interviews or application. Beware of recruiters who ask you for money in return of finding a job for you.
